A Superb "Swiss Station Master's Desk Clock / Pocket Watch" is believed to be late Victorian and Swiss in origin. It is solid silver with a 15 jewel Brequet anti- magnetic movement and had the dual function of being a Station Master's timepiece for use in the office and on the platform. A typical locomotive of the period is inscribed on the dial and rear case cover. It has a 24 hour movement and is in perfect working order. It is complete with its original leather case which doubles up as a desk stand. A very rare and desirable pocket watch.
