Lot 315 Brass GWR Steam Locomotive Nameplate "PRINCESS MAUD". As carried by a GWR Star Class 4-6-0 locomotive No. 4049. Built at Swindon Works in May 1914 under order No 199. Entered service May 1914. First allocation Wolverhampton Stafford Rd, last allocation Westbury. Withdrawn by BR in November 1950, Cut up Swindon Works 7/53. In Superb restored condition. Nice example!!
