| Lot 280 | Brass Cabside Numberplate "6686" As carried by a Collet designed ex GWR 0-6-2T built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne in December 1939. Allocations included Landore, Duffryn Yard, Rhymney, Merthyr from where it was withdrawn in April 1964. Purchased from BR by Woodham Bros Barry and subsequently preserved by the Barry Tourist Railway where it awaits restoration.Ex loco condition. |
