Brass Steam Locomotive Cabside Numberplate "9682". As carried by a Collett designed 57xx class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon Works in May 1949. Allocations included Tyseley, Aberbeeg and Cardiff Radyr from where it was withdrawn in August 1965. After being in store at Newport Ebbw Jct it was despatched for scrap to Woodhams of Barry in October 1965 residing there until November 1982 when it was purchased for preservation. It is currently based and owned by the Dean Forest Locomotive Group based at Norchard, Glos, where it awaits restoration.
