Lot 1 Brass Southern Railway Steam Locomotive Nameplate "BIDEFORD", together with its matching original "West Country Class" Scroll, original Smokebox Numberplate "34019" and a replica painted (not enamel) Shield inside a brass shield surround. As carried by Southern Railway and originally numbered 21C119 and then renumbered by BR to Unrebuilt West Country class 4-6-2 "34019" 'Lightweight Pacific' built at Brighton works in December 1945. Allocations included Exmouth Jct, Brighton, Salisbury, Feltham, Eastleigh and Nine Elms, from where it was withdrawn in March 1967. Cut up at Cashmores, Newport, South Wales 09/67. Nameplate, Smokebox, Scroll cleaned many years ago, rear of all three plates Ex Loco condition. A rare chance to obtain 'a full set' of plates.
