Lot 38 Alloy Steam Locomotive Headboard "THE THAMES-CLYDE EXPRESS". Original front and back. Spring release for rear bracket present. Plate bent at bottom left outwards. This express ran from London St. Pancras to Glasgow St. Enoch from 26 September 1927 (Glasgow Central from 27 June 1966 upon closure of St. Enoch), service withdrawn during WW2, with the last run on 3 May 1975.
