Lot 4 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "BHOPAL". As carried by a W. Stanier designed ex LMS Class 6P 4-6-0 Number "45594" built by the North British Locomotive Co, Glasgow in January 1935. Allocations included Sheffield Millhouses, Canklow and Sheffield Darnall from where it was withdrawn in December 1962. Cut up at Crewe Works 08/63. There are seven bolt holes in the Nameplate, with it being ex-loco back and front and is the fireman's side plate with the usual wear and tear. Recovered by the late vendor at the end of steam and never before offered at auction.
