Lot 46 C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Number plate "42971". As carried by a Stanier designed ex LMS Class 6P5F 2-6-0 built at Crewe Works in January 1934. Allocations included Carstairs, Warrington Dallam, Crewe South, Chester, Birkenhead Mollington Street, Llandudno Jct, Speke Jct, Mold Jct, Crewe South and Nuneaton from where it was withdrawn in December 1964. Cut up at Cashmore's Great Bridge 03/65. Restored many years ago front and back.
