Lot 200 Brass Locomotive Nameplate "HARLECH CASTLE" As carried by a Collett designed ex GWR 4-6-0 Castle Class No 4095 built at Swindon Works in June 1926.Allocations included Plymouth Laira, Landore, Penzance, Reading from where it was withdrawn in December 1962.Cut up at A.King & sons, Norwich 04/64. This is the first time in auction for this left hand plate. In ex loco condition a Superb Example.
