Lot 184 Brass East African Railways Steam Locomotive Nameplate Set. As carried by No 5908 a 4-8-2 2-8-4 Beyer Garratt Mountain Class 59 "MT. LOOLMALASIN" Set including Cabside and Bunker number plates 5908. One of a class of large Garretts ordered from Beyer Peacock in 1955 to work between Mombasa and Nairobi. 5908 was withdrawn by Kenya Railways in 1980. Nameplate 70" x 9", cabside 27" x 9", Bunker 20" x 7". A rare opportunity to acquire a full set.
