Lot 371 B.R. (S) - Enamel Station Direction Sign "HARTFIELD STATION" - with totem and left pointing arrow. The sign was fixed to a fence at the top of the station approach road and post closure in 1967 remained in the area with a local resident. This location never had totems or target signs. The village of the same name and surrounding forest was the inspiration for the 'Winnie the Pooh' stories by AA Milne. The station found temporary fame as the destination in the British Transport Film Farmer Moving South. Good condition with usual edge and face chipping.
