Brass Industrial Steam Locomotive Nameplate "ABERSYCHAN". As fitted to a Peckett E class 0-4-0ST No. 1009 of 1904. New to the Ebbw Vale Co., Abersychan Iron Works. It ran at various collieries in the Monmouthshire valleys, principally Powels Navigation (Abersychan) and North Celynen, South Celynen and Nine Mile Point, which were south of Crumlin in the western valley. Size 42.5in x 6.5in. Face restored. Guide: £1000-1500 |
