C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "30502". As carried by a R. Urie/Maunsell designed ex LSWR/SR Class S15 4-6-0 built at Eastleigh works in July 1920. Allocated to Feltham only throughout its working life, it was withdrawn from here in December 1962. Cut up at Eastleigh works 03/63. Face repainted, back ex-loco. Original BR receipt for £15 pasted to rear from 1972. BR(S) triangle mark cast to rear. Guide: £800-1000 |
