| Lot 106 | Aluminium Express Headboard "ROYAL SCOT", complete with integral mounting bracket to reverse. Ex-service condition front and back. The Euston to Glasgow Central titled run began in July 1927 and ended in June 2002. Wording on rear states "This famous headboard was carried by No. 46229 "Duchess of Hamilton" on her last main line journey Euston-Glasgow 30.11.96. A classic headboard with raised letters and moulded lion on shield and tartan painted background. |
