Lot 380 Brass South African Railways Locomotive Cabside Numberplate "1401". From a SAR class 19B 4-8-2 locomotive. No. 1401 was first of the class of 14 (1401-1414) introduced in 1930. Constructed by Schwartzkopff, Berlin. Modified class 19. The whole class were finally shedded at Rosmead Depot, working double-headed over the famous 'Lootsburg' Mountain Pass to Graaff Reinet. Replaced by GMA Garratts and withdrawn mid-1970s. Ex-loco condition.
