Diesel Hydraulic Locomotive Nameplate "SHARPSHOOTER". As carried by Class 43 Warship D843. New to 83D Plymouth Laira 01/61. Nameplates fitted from new until withdrawn from 83A Newton Abbot 05/71. Loco cut up at Swindon Works 04/72. Cast aluminium, front repainted, back ex loco, showing traces of original paint with 843 painted in yellow as applied by fitters when removed.
