Lot 130 | Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "LADY OF LYNN" as carried by a Churchward designed ex-GWR Saint class 4-6-0 No. 2906 - original works number 2204 - built at Swindon works in May 1906. Allocations included only Old Oak Common and Cardiff Canton from where it was withdrawn in August 1952. Cut up at Swindon works on an unknown date. Lady of Lynn nameplates were applied in May 1907. This is the right-hand side plate. |
