Lot 11 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "SIR VINCENT RAVEN" as carried by a Peppercorn designed ex LNER/BR Class A1 4-6-2 No. "60126" built at Doncaster works in April 1949. Allocations included just Heaton and York, from where it was withdrawn in January 1965. Cut up at Draper's, Sculcoates yard, Hull 04/65. Sir Vincent Raven was an English railway engineer and was Chief Mechanical Engineer of the North Eastern Railway from 1910 to 1922.
