Lot 6 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "DIDLINGTON HALL" as carried by a Collett designed ex GWR Hall class 4-6-0 No. "6940" built at Swindon works in August 1942. Allocations included Plymouth Laira, Newton Abbot, Wolverhampton Stafford Road, Oxley, Newton Abbott, Cheltenham, Worcester, Swindon and Gloucester Horton Road from where it was withdrawn in May 1964. Cut up at Cashmore's, Great Bridge 08/64. This is the left hand side plate.
