| Lot 83 | C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "30544" as carried by a Maunsell designed ex SR Q class T9 0-6-0 built at Eastleigh works in April 1939. Allocations included Horsham, Tunbridge Wells West, Eastleigh, Stewarts Lane, Brighton and ThreeBridges from where it was withdrawn in January 1964. Cut up at T. Ward, Killamarsh, Sheffield 10/64. Front restored, rear ex-loco with BR (S) Eastleigh triangle casting mark. |
