Lot 90 C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "31870" as carried by a Maunsell designed ex SR N class 2-6-0 built at Ashford works in July 1925. Allocations included Eastleigh, Fratton, Plymouth Friary, Brighton, Bricklayers Arms and Redhill from where it was withdrawn in April 1964. Cut up at Bird's Morriston, South Wales 11/64. Front restored, rear ex-loco with Eastleigh triangle casting mark.
