Lot 114 Brass Oval Steam Locomotive Worksplate "R&W. HAWTHORN, LESLIE & CO., LTD. ENGINEERS, NEWCASTLE ON TYNE 3813 - 1935". As fitted to the above locomotive "WELLINGBORO No. 3", delivered to the Wellingborough Iron Co. from new. The brass has been re-brazed around the rear of right hand bolt hole. Front repainted, rear ex-loco. This item and its matching nameplate (above) are being sold to raise funds for the 82045 Group, based at Bridgnorth.
