Brass Oval Diesel Locomotive Worksplate "THE DREWRY CAR CO LTD, ASSOCIATED WITH ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD, DARLINGTON, LOCO No 2606 204HP-1957, CITY WALL HOUSE, LONDON EC2" As carried by Class 04 shunter D2262. New to 55D Royston 11/57. Withdrawn from 51A Darlington 09/68 and stored at the old steam shed until sold to Ford Motor Co., Dagenham 03/69 becoming their No. 7. Suffered collision damage in 1975 and after spares removal was cut up on site by contractors 07/78. Ex-loco condition.
