Brass Diesel Locomotive Worksplate "THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD LONDON, ROBERT STEPHENSON & HAWTHORNS LTD LOCOMOTIVE WORKS ENGLAND 2726/8136.1960." As carried by Class 40 D306 renumbered 40106 03/74. New to 5A Crewe North 10/60 and withdrawn from Longsight 04/83 being the last Class 40 to retain green livery. Stored at Crewe Diesel until sold for preservation to the Great Central Railway 04/84. Named 'ATLANTIC CONVEYOR' at Loughborough on 9/8/84. Has been based at various preservation sites and is currently at the East Lancs Railway. Ex-loco condition.
