Lot 446B Alloy Diesel Locomotive Nameplate LUCANIA. As carried by Class 40 D224 becoming 40024 3/74. Allocated new to 5A Crewe North 8/59 it was named at Crewe Works on 15/8/62 without ceremony. A label on the back states that the nameplate was removed in 1971. Loco was withdrawn from Longsight 6/84 and cut up at Crewe Works 9/85. Superb ex-loco condition and a full set of fixing bolts accompany the nameplate.
