Lot 147 Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate AIRBORNE. As carried by an E. Thompson designed ex LNER Class A2 4-6-2 No. 60511 built at Doncaster works in July 1946. Allocations included Gateshead, Heaton and Tweedmouth, from where it was withdrawn in November 1962 despite being stored at Blaydon between October 1962 and March 1963. Cut up at Doncaster works 05/63.
