Lot 185 Brass Steam Locomotive Cabside Numberplate 1017. As carried by a Hawksworth designed ex GWR 1000 class 4-6-0 named COUNTY OF HEREFORD built at Swindon works in March 1946. Allocations included Wolverhampton Stafford Road, Plymouth Laira and Shrewsbury from where it was withdrawn in December 1962. Cut up at T. Ward, Broughton Lane, Sheffield 01/64.
