Lot 502 Diesel Locomotive Worksplate BUILT BY THE BIRMINGHAM RAILWAY CARRIAGE & WAGON Co. LTD SMETHWICK ENGLAND 1961 SERIAL No. DEL 234. As carried by Class 27 D5391 becoming 27119 6/73 and 27201 5/74. New to 14A Cricklewood 6/62 and withdrawn from Haymarket 1/79 due to fire damage. Stored at Polmadie until moved to Glasgow Works 5/79 and scrapped there 2/82. Rectangular chromed brass, face cleaned with two extra holes on the date.
