Lot 239 Tyers No. 6 tablet instrument in excellent original condition. The veneer on the domed indicator cover seems to be in good order, which is quite unusual with these instruments. Nice that it is fitted with its original Tyer's No. 6 bell on brackets above the indicator, although the spiral wire gong itself is missing. Paintwork and lettering on the dial is excellent and the instrument retains its Tyer's maker's plate.
