Specially consigned "RAF Squadron Nameplate" (without crest) to celebrate VE Day on the 8th May. This Brass Steam Locomotive Nameplate "74 SQUADRON" was once carried by a Bulleid Pacific

"Battle of Britain" 4-6-2 No 34080 built at Brighton Works in August 1948. Allocations included only Ramsgate and Exmouth Jct from where it was withdrawn in December 1964. Cut up at Bird’s, Bynea, Llanelly, South Wales 12/64.



74 Squadron known as “the Tigers” was formed at Northolt in July 1917 and moved to numerous bases both home and abroad throughout the first and second world wars and at the end of the Battle of Britain in October 1940 was to be found at RAF Biggin Hill. it’s final base being RAF Valley on Anglesey, North Wales from where it was disbanded in September 2000. Front repainted 40 + years ago , back as removed condition.





"The Night Scotsman" was a sleeper service leaving at 11.35pm Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley and 11.05pm returned.





Original Ex Service Condition, "S & D J Rly Lamp" Stamped on the Top & side and Two small oval brass plates “Somerset & Dorset Rly 137” and "40284". All complete with Vessel & Burner
