Diesel Locomotive Worksplate “THE ENGLISH ELECTRIC COMPANY LTD. LONDON THE VULCAN FOUNDRY LTD. LOCOMOTIVE WORKS, LONDON No. 2865/D581 1960.”  As carried by Class 37 D6702 becoming 37002 02/74 and 37351 05/89. Withdrawn from the EWS HQ Pool 12/99 and stored at Thornaby and then Crewe Diesel from 09/01. Taken by road to T.J. Thompson, Stockton 09/07 and cut up there during 11/07. Only ten Class 37s carried a 1960 dated worksplate. Rectangular chromed brass in ex-loco condition.
