Brass Diesel Locomotive Nameplate ISAMBARD KINGDOM BRUNEL As carried by Class 47 No. 47484. New to 87E Landore as D1662, becoming 47484 12/73. Originally named at Bristol Temple Meads station on 20/03/65, this brass example was fitted at Old Oak Common on 23/02/85 as part of the GWR 150 events. Nameplates removed 12/98. Loco has been in store many times since 1992 and was sold for preservation to the Pioneer Diesel Group in 05/11 and remains stored at Wishaw awaiting possible restoration. A superb plate in ex-loco condition.
