Brass 9×5 Oval Worksplate L.N.E.R DARLINGTON WORKS 1938 – 828. As carried by a Gresley designed ex LNER/BR 2-6-2 class V2 No. 60828. Originally numbered 4799 in 1938, its number changed to 828 in October 1946 then becoming 60828 in September 1949. ​Allocations included York, Doncaster, Gorton, New England, Kings Cross, Neasden, Leicester (GC) and York North from where it was withdrawn October 1965. Cut up at Cashmore’s, Great Bridge 12/65. Ex-loco condition.
