Electric Locomotive Cabside Numbers “E3037”.  As carried by the North British built Class 84 that was later renumbered to 84002 in September 1972. Allocated new to 9A Longsight 05/60 and withdrawn from Crewe Electric 09/80. Sold to GEC for use as a generator at Trafford Park, Manchester. After this duty finished the loco was cut in half and taken by road to Texas Metals Hyde, Stockport 12/82 and disposed of. Cast aluminium letters screwed to a painted board for display.
