Description

C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate 42583.  As carried by a Stanier designed ex LMS class 4MT 2 cylinder 2-6-4T built by the North British Locomotive Co, Glasgow in October 1936. Allocations included Warrington Dallam, Edge Hill, Willesden, Longsight, Birkenhead Mollington Street, Stoke and Trafford Park from where it was withdrawn in October 1966. Cut up at Cashmore’s, Great Bridge 02/67. This plate is in ex Loco Condition.
