C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate 45373.  As carried by a Stanier designed ex LMS class 5MT 4-6-0 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Scotswood, Newcastle Upon Tyne June 1937.  Allocations included Preston, Llandudno Jct, Patricroft, Edge Hill, Crewe North, Wigan Springs Branch, Blackpool Central, Lancaster Green Ayre, Carnforth and Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in September 1967. Cut up at Cashmore’s. Newport, South Wales 10/68. Face restored, rear ex-loco.
