REPRODUCTION Alloy Electro-Diesel Locomotive Nameplate BATTLE OF BRITAIN 50th ANNIVERSARY. The original as fitted to BR ED Class 73 No. 73109. Built by English Electric and introduced to traffic and allocated to Stewarts Lane 75D in January 1966 as No. E6015, it received TOPS number 73109 in January 1974. Named on 8/8/90 at Folkestone Central station by Lord Ilchester, President of the Royal Air Force Association, to mark the anniversary.
