Dorchester Castle was a motte and bailey castle in the market town of Dorchester, Dorset there are no visible remains to-day except for a gatehouse built in 1790 which is now a listed building.
The Vendor of this plate has requested that we re-enter it back into our Crewe Auction due to a gentlemen from Dorset known to many in our hobby who has repeatedly attended other Auctions and been allowed to bid on other high value nameplates and promised other Railwayana auction houses of his intent to purchase 100% knowing he could not fulfil paying / settling his invoice. This is totally unacceptable by our company and therefore the person has now been banned from attending and bidding on any other items at any of our future auctions. We would strongly advise all the other Railwayana Auction Houses to consider the same action as we have had to take. |
