Allocations included Landore, Carmarthen and Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in December 1963. Cut up at Steel Supply, Albion Works, Briton Ferry, South Wales 08/64. FIRST TIME AT AUCTION. A BR receipt from Swindon in 1964 accompanies this plate when purchased direct by a Research & Development (Chemist) Director of Cadbury and has been with his family ever since. Cadbury Castle is the best known and most interesting of the reputed legendary sites of Camelot. A bronze and iron-age hill fort in the Civil Parish of South Cadbury, five miles north east of Yeovil, Somerset.

As carried by a Riddles-designed BR Standard Class 7P6F Britannia class 4-6-2 No. 70023 built at Crewe and allocated new to Old Oak Common on 21 August 1951, where it remained until moving by early February 1957 to Cardiff Canton. After moving away from the Western Region to Carlisle Kingmoor in September 1961, it had short stays at numerous LM sheds including Holyhead, returning to Kingmoor from where it was withdrawn on 30 December 1967 and despatched for scrap to T.W. Ward at Killamarsh on 26 April 1968. Ex-loco condition.
