12 C/I Cabside Numberplate "9304" As carried by a Churchward designed ex GWR 2-6-0 43xx class tender Locomotive, number changed to 7326 from June 1958 built at Swindon Works in February 1932. Allocations included Didcot, Southall, Cardiff Canton, Hereford, Truro, Exeter, Plymouth Laira, Hereford, Reading,Taunton from where it was withdrawn in September 1963. Cut up at Cohens Morriston, South Wales 06/64. Purchased by the vendor direct from Swindon.  
13 GWR Mahogany Cased Signal Box Double line Spagnoletti block instrument marked Up and Down Line. Complete with both keys and flaps. In lightly cleaned condition. £160
14 C/I Steam Locomotive Smoke box Number plate "46428" As carried by an Ivatt designed class 2F 2-6-0 built at Crewe Works in December 1948. Allocations included Preston, Rhyl, Bescot, Bushbury, Wigan Springs branch, Leamington Spa, Tyseley and Crewe South from where it was withdrawn in December 1966. Originally dispatched to Woodhams scrap yard Barry this locomotive was subsequently purchased for preservation and currently resides at the East Lancs Railway. £1000

The Dial is marked GER JJ Stockall & Sons Ltd London. The Rear of the Dial is marked BR(E)970. The Fusee is engraved GER. Complete with Pendulum and winding key fully serviced.

Allocated to Oswestry and Brecon it was withdrawn from the latter in December 1952. Believed to have been scrapped at Swindon Works on an unknown date.

In 1950 the EAR purchased a further similareight loco`s including 2711from the Malayan railways and the sixteen loco`s were classified "27 Class". In 1953a further engine was built at Dar El Salaam works from spare parts purchasedfrom the Nigerian Railways which brought the class totalto seventeen. 380 Diesel Locomotive Nameplate "HILLHEAD '93" The Name was carried by a Class 60 Diesel Locomotive No. 60 082, Applied at Hillhead Quarry on 15th June 1993, Removed 17th June 1993. Size 40" x 14". The plate was fitted by Jack Hobbs, President of the institute of Quarrying to mark the World's Biggest Quarry Exhibition. The name was applied over "MAM TOR". The loco was delivered to the exhibition site 'unnamed' by EWS. On the first day of the show there was a naming ceremony and the 'Hillhead 93' plates were fitted to the loco for the 3 days of the show. There were only 2 plates. After the loco went back to EWS the temporary plates were removed and the Mam Tor plates reinstalled.
