Brass Steam Locomotive Cabside Numberplate "3400". As carried by a Hawksworth designed 94xx Class 0-6-0PT built by the Yorkshire Engine Co, Sheffield in December 1955. Allocations included Cardiff East Dock, Shrewsbury and Radyr from where it was withdrawn in May 1962. Cut up at R.S. Hayes, Bridgend, South Wales 02/65.

C/I Steam Locomotive Cabside Numberplate "5369" as carried by a Churchward designed ex GWR 43xx Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in June 1919. Allocations included Oxley, Tyseley, Leamington Spa, Banbury, St. Philips Marsh, Swindon and Pontypool Road from where it was withdrawn in November 1963. Cut up at Cashmore's, Newport, South Wales 03/64. First time in auction.

Brass Steam Locomotive Cabside Numberplate "6716". As carried by a Collett designed 57xx class ex GWR 0-6-0PT built by W.G. Bagnall of Stafford in July 1930. Allocated to only Swindon throughout its working life it was withdrawn in February 1959. Cut up at Swindon works 01/60.

Allocations included only Gloucester Horton Road and Pontypool Road from where it was withdrawn in September 1962. Cut up at Swindon works 12/62.

Allocations included Newton Abbot, St. Blazey, Plymouth Laira and Southall from where it was withdrawn in July 1962. Cut up at Cashmores, Newport, South Wales 10/62.

Allocations included Westbury, Swindon, Carmarthen, Cardiff Canton Newport Ebbw Jct, Bristol Barrow Road and Cardiff East Dock from where it was withdrawn in February 1965. Cut up at Swindon Works 04/65.

Note: the smokebox numberplate from this loco is also in this auction.

Allocated to only Machynlleth but stored for nearly two years at Aberystwyth and was withdrawn in August 1957. Cut up at Swindon works 09/57.

Allocated to mainly Slough throughout its working life it was withdrawn from here in February 1962. Cut up at Cashmores, Newport, South Wales 07/62.
