C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "1404" as carried by a Collett designed ex GWR 14xx class 0-4-2T built at Swindon works in September 1932.Allocations included Gloucester Horton Road, Ross-on-Wye, Hereford and Lydney, from where it was withdrawn in February 1956. Cut up at Swindon works 05/56. Front restored, rear ex-loco. In a rare case of BR recycling, the back has been hand-painted "5228", a Collett 2-8-0T withdrawn in April1964. Two for the price of one!

Allocated to only Old Oak Common throughout its working life it was withdrawn from there in May 1963. Cut up at Birds, Morriston, South Wales 04/64. Front restored, rear ex-loco.

Allocated to only Whitland and Llanelli it was withdrawn from the latter in October 1965. Cut up at T. Jones Iron & Steel, Newport, South Wales 11/65. Front restored, rear ex-loco.

C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "2830" as carried by a Churchward designed 28xx class ex GWR 2-8-0 built at Swindon works in February 1907. Allocated to only Cardiff Canton and Oxley it was withdrawn from the latter in January 1959. Cut up at R.S.Hayes, Bridgend, South Wales 09/59. Restored front and rear.

C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate "3043" as carried by Robinson designed ex Railway Operating Division (GCR) ROD 2-8-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co., Glasgow in 1918 and absorbed into the Great Western Railway in 1925. Allocations included Wolverhampton Stafford Road, Banbury, Cardiff Canton, Pontypool Road and Oxley from where it was withdrawn in September 1956. Presumably scrapped at Swindon on a date not recorded. Front restored, rear ex-loco.

Allocations included Old Oak Common, Wolverhampton Stafford Road, Cardiff Canton, Plymouth Laira, Worcester, Reading and Oxford from where it was withdrawn in December 1961. Cut up at Swindon works 01/62. Dunraven Castle was a mansion on the South Wales coast near Southerndown. Front and rear ex-loco.
