'Next Train To London Bridge'. A very interesting and pretty well unique wooden-cased instrument with eight illuminated indicators referring to platforms 1-8 at London Bridge station. Below the indicators is a row of eight standard GPO pattern switches to set or cancel the indications. Complete and in fairly good condition except for a small amount of wood missing top right of the case, and two bakelite switch lever covers (which are very easy to source and replace).

Cheadle Village Junction was where a curve from the Davenport line joined the Edgely Jcn-Northenden line.

Tyers No. 6 tablet instrument in excellent original condition. The veneer on the domed indicator cover seems to be in good order, which is quite unusual with these instruments. Nice that it is fitted with its original Tyer's No. 6 bell on brackets above the indicator, although the spiral wire gong itself is missing. Paintwork and lettering on the dial is excellent and the instrument retains its Tyer's maker's plate.
