B.R. (S) - Enamel Station Direction Sign "HARTFIELD STATION" - with totem and left pointing arrow. The sign was fixed to a fence at the top of the station approach road and post closure in 1967 remained in the area with a local resident. This location never had totems or target signs. The village of the same name and surrounding forest was the inspiration for the 'Winnie the Pooh' stories by AA Milne. The station found temporary fame as the destination in the British Transport Film Farmer Moving South. Good condition with usual edge and face chipping.

A Superb Prototype of a Class 91 Model - First of the class No 91001 in Intercity 225 Swallow Livery. Produced by EDM (Engineering, Design and Models Ltd) in Manchester who historically produced models for marketing purposes. The telephone number on the EDM plaque is a pre-1993. It has been suggested it was possibly produced as a prototype for an application for funding in the 1980s but this is unconfirmed. The train is in its original setting in a perspex and wood case. Overall condition is good with no fading to the livery. The model displays wonderful attention to detail. There is some crazing and slight surface cracks on the enamel/paint on the train, some slight damage on the top, a small piece of track has come unstuck but is present and there are some slight marks and faint surface scratches on the Perspex where it has been dusted over the years. Case measures 4ft long x 18inch deep x 12inch high. The model itself is approximately 3ft long. A beautiful piece of Class 91 history. A one off chance to acquire this unique Model!
