Cheshire Lines Committee 12in Roundhead Fusee Clock No. 237. originally supplied by W. McFerran, Victoria St, Manchester, but has been overwritten at the top with G ECCLES & SON and at the bottom with LIVERPOOL, (‘ghosting’ of the original lettering still visible). Entered BR (M) service as No. 18531 as evidenced by a small oval brass numberplate to the side of the case. Complete with pendulum and winding key and in good working order and the movement has been recently cleaned. The side door to the back box looks to be a replacement.

London & South Western Railway 8in Fusee Clock No. 7599SW. Purchased in 1898 for £2.12.6d from John Walker and deployed at Bournemouth Central Parcels Office. Complete with pendulum and winding key and in good working order.

LB&SCR 14in Dial Spring Movement Drop Dial Clock No. 189. Supplied by William Wright in 1857 for £7 and deployed at Sutton Junction Signal Box. Complete with its enamel numeral disc LBSCR 189 that are often missing from these early clocks. Mechanism has been recently cleaned and serviced. A nice early example. Overall height 28.5in.
