H.A Ivatt's retirement present! The gift to Ivatt, upon his retirement from the G.N.R, was this oil on canvas study of Ivatt, in his office with a picture of one of his locomotives on the wall behind. The frame bears a plaque 'Presented to H. A Ivatt Esq on his retirement by the Officers and salaried staff of the Locomotive, Carriage and Wagon Department of the Great Northern Railway Company, 1911'. O.V.S Bulleid was an apprentice under Ivatt and during that time he married Ivatt's youngest daughter, Marjorie. The painting has since been in the Bulleid family for many years and has been donated by his grandson, David Bulleid, to the Bulleid Society to raise funds for locomotive restoration. Size 4ft x 3ft 6in.

Brass G.W.R. Castle Class Safety Valve Bonnet, acquired by the vendor straight from Swindon Works. Size 44in wide x 23in high. Ex-service condition. This item has been flamecut from the loco and the brasswork is fretted from use.

C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate 1638. As carried by a Hawksworth designed class 16xx 0-6-0PT built at Swindon works in March 1951. Allocations included Llanelly, Oswestry and Croes Newydd from where it was withdrawn in August 1966. This Pannier tank was purchased direct from BR for preservation and now resides at the Kent & East Sussex Railway. Face restored, rear ex-loco.

C/I Steam Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate 4092. As carried by a Collett designed ex-GWR 4-6-0 4073 class named DUNRAVEN CASTLE built at Swindon works in August 1925. Allocations included Old Oak Common, Wolverhampton Stafford Road, Cardiff Canton, Plymouth Laira, Worcester, Reading and Oxford from where it was withdrawn in December 1961. Cut up at Swindon works 01/62. Dunraven Castle was a mansion on the South Wales coast near Southerndown. Front and rear ex-loco.

Allocations included Birkenhead Mollington Street, Cardiff Cathays, Landore, Neyland, Whitland, Llantrisant and Aberdare from where it was withdrawn in June 1964. Cut up at Birds, Morriston, South Wales 12/64. Face restored, rear ex-loco.

Restored front and rear with BR(S) Eastleigh triangle casting mark to rear.
