![]() ![]() | Brass Diesel Locomotive Nameplate SIR DANIEL GOOCH along with matching Brass Cabside Numberplate 47628. Loco new to 87E Landore 2/65 as D1663 later becoming 47078 2/74 and 47628 1/85. This nameplate was fitted on 16/5/85 for the GW 150 celebrations, which were later cancelled, replacing the cast aluminium one fitted on 16/5/65. Nameplates were removed 12/89. Loco stored awaiting disposal from Crewe Diesel 5/97 and despite being sold to Fragonset Railways 9/01 it remained stored until cut up by Ron Hull Junior, Rotherham 3/06.
